Cardiovascular Disease has been the major cause of death in developed countries. Also
in the developing country, obesity, diabetes, and hypertension are increasing due to the
change of the lifestyle, resulting in the rapid increase in cardiovascular disease. Although
infectious diseases has been the most important health problems conventionally in the
developing country, it will become very important to prevent and treat lifestyle-related disease in the near future. I would like to learn how to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease, and how to educate people together with you.

メッセージ
心血管系疾患は先進国において,長い間主要な死因となっていましたが,予防医学,治療法の開発により近年死亡率は減少しつつあります。一方,開発途上国では,生活習慣の変化により,肥満,糖尿病,高血圧が増加し心血管系疾患が急増しています。従って,従来開発途上国においては感染症対策が最も重要な課題でしたが,今後は生活習慣病対策も非常に重要になると考えられます。心血管病減少のための住民への啓蒙活動,予防法,治療法についていっしょに学んで行きたいと思います。
