The School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health (TMGH) is located on the Medical Campus of Nagasaki University (also known as "Sakamoto Campus).  Here students attend classes full-time, interact with professors and other students face-to-face, and can also explore the beautiful city of Nagasaki in their free time.

Classes are held in the "Global Health General Research Building" (pictured) next to the Institute of Tropical Medicine (NEKKEN).

This is a new building built in 2015 specifically for TMGH. There are 5 floors in total:

1st floor: Administration office, seminar & meeting rooms

2nd floor: Laboratories

3rd floor: Students' study hall, discussion rooms, laboratories

4th floor: Seminar rooms

5th floor: Professors' offices, meeting rooms

The study hall on the 3rd floor is open 24/7 exclusively for TMGH students who are welcome to use it for their studies. It is equipped with a printer, a reference corner, 3 discussion rooms, and also a break room which has a refrigerator and various other appliances.

We encourage our students to take advantage of these facilities to the fullest during their time at TMGH.

Offices for many of TMGH's professors are located on the 5th floor.
