What is TMGH?

TMGH stands for the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health.

We are a graduate school at Nagasaki University offering 3 master-level courses:

  1. Master of Tropical Medicine (MTM)

  2. International Health Development (MPH)

  3. Health Innovation (MSc)

What courses are available?

What are the requirements for each course?

Master of Tropical Medicine (MTM)

  • Doctor’s license

  • 2 years of clinical experience

International Health Development (MPH)

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field)

  • Work experience in public health

Health Innovation (MSc)

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field)

I’m not Japanese and I can’t speak Japanese, can I still apply?

Yes, we welcome and encourage applications from all over the world. 
All course-work at TMGH are conducted in English, therefore, Japanese is not required.
